now notice a big rig turning right against the red arrow. watch the car at the bottom of the screen, also runs the red arrow. now watch the silver suv followed closely by a white car and those also run the no turn on red signal. i'm at the intersection of oak and octavia in san francisco where a fatal accident occurred. this intersection has red light cameras in two directions but not for right turns so drivers exploit that fact. for such a busy intersection i was surprised by the amount of distracked drivers. while this road doesn't seem to be designed for big rig are lots of trucks passing through, sometimes at break neck speeds. something else i noticed. when the light turns green drivers often just sit there causing loud horn blowing often because the driver is in the wrong lane so they block traffic whether at the light or a few car lengths behind. then there is this driver who turns from the no turn lane. it seems like with all the traffic engineering in the world nothing can help plain old bad driving. in san francisco, stanley robert

in a big way. 56 fairfield. they've had gusts to 30 miles an hour out of the southwest. livermore 57. low 60s for some but a lot of mid 50s for others. and in some of the hawaiier elevations the fog is lifting. there is gusts to 35 miles an hour. you get up around 2,000 feet temperatures are running cooler. so it will still be sunny. it will still be warm but not as warm in the past couple of days. a little system will continue to work its way down here and that will take a lot of the tropical moisture and kick it out of here. not until probably sunday. in the meantime the fog is increasing and the wind has been picking up. it will be warm inland. also partly colludeys are possible for some of that tropical moisture. i think there will be pretty good thunderstorm activity up along the crest of the sierra. cooler inland. fog, sun and breezy by the coast. 60s for many. 70s around the bay. santa leo that 88. ukiah in there as well. fairfield 89. vallejo 86. 86 now walnut creek and marin da. danville 87. 74 hayward. 88 morgan hill to gilroy. san jose at 81. 85 at saratoga. m
